Dombrance, is the name of a project founded by Bertrand Lacombe of the group DBFC, an outstanding DJ performer as well as an excellent producer/remixer for acts such as Oliver, Superpoze, Pardon moi, Is Tropical, Get a Room and many more. Dombrance uses his own "science of music" to deliver dance tracks experienced as insane roller coaster rides, where he takes disco dance music and telescopes it through a techno, funk, pop fusion - constantly climbing towards a collective hysteria.
Thus is born a new electro-musical project, complemented by the brilliant visuals of Olivier Laude, a key stakeholder in the campaign whose inventions or re-inventions bring the music to live visually. The mixing genres and remixing of memes are an essential part of the joyful subversion of this mind-boggling music experience.
After his triumph at the Transmusicales Festival de Rennes in December 2018, Dombrance embarks on the road this year, in between recording his album, to play live festivals around the globe and upcoming clubs shows in Berlin, Paris and New York.
XANDER FERREIRA & THE TRUE TONES
South African artist, Xander Ferreira set off on a journey between worlds to build cultural bridges through the unifying voice of music. Fusing African music, that he grew up with in rural Limpopo, with a variety of American styles in his current home of New York.
Formerly known as Gazelle, he became one of the country’s most recognized musicians, known especially for his popular fusion of contemporary electronic sounds and traditional African music. Celebrated for his flamboyant stage persona and enigmatic performances, he took to the stage in 17 countries around the globe. His musical journey has seen him collaborate with a variety of artists such as Deva Mahal, Peaches, St. Lucia, Findlay Brown and The Bloody Beetroots. After Gazelle’s success, Xander moved to New York where he embarked on a journey to create, what he calls, “A reverse version of Paul Simon’s Graceland”, in turn fusing African sounds with a variety of American musical styles.
Following his relocation to New York, he teamed up with Steve Williams on Drums (De La Soul, Sade, Digable Planets), Paul Frazier on Bass (David Byrne, Chic, Chaka Kahn, Arrested Development, Digable Planets) and David Bailis on Guitar (John Forte, Pimps of Joytime) to form a new group for a solo project. Xander’s signature new sound is a fusion of influences ranging from South African traditional music, Afrofunk, 60’s Pop,Soul and Psychedelic Rock accompanied by an undertone of Electronic sound.

We raised funds on the night for Project Ø - one of the best Oceanic charities out there.
is a new generation focused on fixing the world's largest and most solvable problem - the ocean. We're a global movement supported by renowned scientists, business leaders, celebrities, campaigners, ocean experts and individuals, who are all working together to restore and protect the ocean.
And the ocean needs it. Less than 3% is protected, countless fisheries are overexploited – the majority of top predators are gone - huge amounts of plastic and waste are pouring into the ocean unchecked, half the coral reefs are gone, and dead zones cover huge swaths of ocean unable to support life.
